Is it good to rely on GPS in critical situations?
I am an Avid hiker / road and I am considering a high Handheld GPS technology (Garmin eTrex Vista HCx). I lost a lot of times, but always seem to find my way out. Also, I hate Articles surplus / junk when I'm already packing 60 pounds. Worth the weight penalty and costs?
My personal feeling is to move from a GPS when you're outside and taking a risk of losing is not an option when GPS is available at a reasonable price. There have been many times GPS had saved many people's lives and restore security. On the other hand, if you go in, it's like without matches, lighter, knife, light, first aid kit etc., you will be able to go out with her, but this is not the smart thing to do. If you feel a GPS May not be worth the cost to ask you if you own car and life insurance, why you have those insurance policies? Because there is a small chance of you getting in an accident or get sick right? Getting lost is more likely that you said you got lost a few times already, take whey a chance when you do not.
