Suzuki offers a new 60 hp four outboard stroke which is smaller, lighter and more fuel efficient than the model of last year.

The Suzuki DF60 is a three-cylinder unit with four valves per cylinder. The engine tips the scale at 229 pounds, a remarkable 130 pounds (36 percent) less than four outboard cylinder it replaces.

The DF60 features dual overhead cams (DOHC), sequential multipoint injection electronics and an alternator of 19 amps which is more than 11 amps at 1000 rpm.

Of special note is the Suzuki Lean Burn Control System which saves a bundle on fuel costs compared to the previous model. Suzuki claims a fuel economy of 38 per cent Trolling speeds, 42 percent savings at highway speeds and 21 percent savings at high speed.

The electronic control module engine is a 32-bit parameters that control motor and leans more to the air / fuel ratio for maximum economy and reduced emissions minimum throughout the entire operating range.

The DF60 is compatible with digital instrumentation and uses Suzuki Suzuki auto-adjustment of chain distribution. As outboard more powerful in society, the DF60 has a tilt function limit to stop the motor from tilting too far in the splash and to prevent damage to the hood. Pontoon boat May also benefit from the limited tilt feature.

The outboard new is the latest example of marine technology and engineering to be better – and a stage of evolution important to the outboard mid – perfect quality.
