I want to start windsurfing.?

I know I need a beginner to start at least more than 3 meters. So I think I'm looking for advice on what kind of advice I need, what is the size or style veil work best with this council and advice you on the auxiliary equipment or windsurfing in general. I live in Rhode Island and the beach on which I would use the Board of Directors has enough small waves … 3-5 feet and winds around 10 knots on a normal day.

10 knots or less on the air five feet can be a bit lighter. I would advice not too short. I would go 3.5 meters or more. Full-floating. For sailing, I would go for a full battened 5 meters square one: a compromise between being easy to handle (smaller) and enough power to cope with the waves (larger). Make sure your board a good drift – you need to be able to tack before learning to jibe. Do not waste money on a new board or the sailing rig. These should be used for you to learn and then keep as a memory while you go to something more advanced. And enjoy! Once you start, it will be difficult to stop smoking.
